Val and Matt

Holy heat! Summer has arrived (sadly just now, mid-August) and boy was it hot for Val and Matt's wedding! My wedding partner, Melissa, and I were just roasting, I don't know how the wedding party did it in full attire, but they were troopers. Really, how could they not be, it was a gorgeous (despite the blistering heat) and sunny day, perfect for celebrating the love of this very fun couple. We traveled between the two family farms and found a little gem along the way...a great old building alongside train tracks. Melissa tells me I "squealed with delight" when I saw it!

Melissa, thanks for having me along to shoot with you. Val and Matt, you guys were so much fun and so sweet...congratulations to you both!

Colleen & Ken

These two are probably the sweetest couple I have ever seen! My wonderful wedding photography partner, Melissa, and I had such a wonderful day capturing the love between Colleen and Ken. They are such caring and genuine people, what an honour to be able to witness their day. Luck was on their side (and ours!) as the rain seemed to work around our schedule yet again. Colleen and Ken, thank you for being the first to take a chance on me and thank you for letting us be a part of a truly inspiring and love-filled day.

Amy and Jamie.....We Do

Wow, what a seriously fun day this was! Luck was on our side all day, that's for sure, as it just POURED all morning until about five minutes after we started. It was looking pretty iffy at several points in the day, but the rain held off. So we got the best of both worlds, we got a great amount of rain the morning, which is supposed to be good luck for the bride and groom, and Melissa (my fabulous wedding partner-in-crime) and I were blessed with lots of clouds for picture perfect conditions.

This was a very fun wedding party, let me tell you. This is just a little sneak peak, more to come!

Chris and Jacqui

Chris and Jacqui...what a fun couple! This is the first time the talented Melissa Oosterbosch and I worked together on a wedding and we had a blast! Chris and Jacqui were not only gorgeous but so laid back and that, together with a day of yummy photography weather, made Melissa and I two happy campers! Chris and Jacqui, we are so happy for you both!! Thanks for having us be a part of your very special day.

What a wonderful day to be a part of! I had the pleasure of shooting with the very kind and very talented Gary Telfer at this wedding. Let me tell you, this was a FUN wedding! They had so many personal touches, from the custom made skate shoes right down to the surprise two-step-converted-to-swing dance that the bride and groom performed at the reception! Amy and Kevin looked amazing and are the sweetest and happiest couple. It was a very emotional day watching these two families join. Thanks for having me be a part of it, you guys! Congrats!
